What information does USADATA collect, and how is it used?

We track the number of visitors who come to our site (user sessions) and how many
total pages these visitors see (impressions). This information is aggregated together,
and does not identify individual users. We use this information to measure how many
                    people visit our site.

We use cookies to measure the success of our advertising and marketing efforts,
and to provide visitors with custom-tailored content. A cookie allows us to recognize
your browser as you move through our site. By showing us which areas of the site
users visit, and how often they visit certain areas, cookies help us see which areas
of the site are popular and which are not. We modify areas of our site and marketing
efforts based in part on user information from cookies. Most browsers are initially
set to accept cookies, but you can set yours to refuse cookies if you choose.

If you request information about a report from us, you enter the following information:
first name, last name, company name, telephone number, and e-mail address. We use
this information to contact you about your request. Also when you request information,
you can choose to opt out of our mailing list. If you choose to be on the mailing
list, we will from time to time send you offers we think will be of interest to
you. If you opt out of our mailing list, we will contact you only about that specific
information request or any subsequent order.

If you place an order, we also collect your billing address, shipping address, and
credit card account number if you choose to pay by credit card. We use this information
to bill you, deliver your order to you, and track your order in case you have any
                    questions.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect only your e-mail address. We will
then e-mail you a monthly newsletter containing interesting facts from our data
sources, case studies, new product announcements, special offers and more.

With whom do we share the information we collect?

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. If you choose
to join our mailing list, you will only receive offers from us that we think will
be of interest to you; if you subscribe to our newsletter, you will only receive
                    our newsletter.

If you place an order with us, it may be necessary to share information with our
partners to fulfill your order. We regularly review the privacy policies of our
partners and believe them to be trustworthy. For credit card billing purposes, we
submit your credit card number and account information to verify the account and
                    process the transaction.

At USADATA, we are committed to protecting the security of your information. To
prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the appropriate
use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial
procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How is the information USADATA sells collected?

At USADATA, we have partnered with dozens of leading marketing research companies
to offer their products and services through our website. None of the marketing
research information gathered by these companies is collected through this website.
These companies collect this information in a variety of ways, including telephone
surveys, mail surveys, in-person interviews, public record and publicly available
information, and data shared by other companies. These marketing research companies
allow us to sell certain products and services based on the information they collect.

Because we do not collect the information ourselves, we cannot remove individuals
from national marketing databases. If you feel your name is part of a marketing
database and you do not wish to be solicited for products or offers, one way to
remove your name is to contact the Direct Marketing Association. (USADATA is a member
of the DMA). The DMA allows consumers to opt out of receiving direct mail promotions
through its Mail Preference Service (MPS), and allows consumers to opt out of telephone
solicitations through its Telephone Preference Service (TPS). More information can
be obtained from the DMA at:
